Oktoberfest fairgrounds at Theresienwiese
I liked Oktoberfest primarily for the overall festive sentiment throughout the city, but naturally we couldn't leave without a peek at the fabled beer tents. The fairgrounds were a bit to the south of the Hauptbahnhof, and it was like a ([carnival+keg party)/2]*100. The primary features were crowds (you must reserve seats in the tents, which contrary to their name are spacious halls, months in advance, or get in very early in the day), food vendors selling horrendously overpriced hotdogs, ice cream, candied nuts, dozens of stalls selling susswarten, the gingerbread valentines hung around the neck of the admired, and brightly lit up rides. i was astonished that the combination of beer and whirly spinny things didn't result in a veritable sea of vomit. the germans are very neat revelers.

Two weeks had passed. Chelsea was back to her old self and ready to play her Omaha show. It was October 27, the night before her cd release. The Qwest Center was packed, and people were in the halls just to listen to the new material. Out in the crowed, becides her fans, were her mom, dad, grandpa, friends, and other family. Chelsea honored Sarah before the concert for helping her with the cd. Tara and Kevin came, followed by Nick and..Joe! Taylor Swift also came, but sat across the venue from JB. And there, front row, to her right, the sear next to the front of the stage and the cat walk, sat Brent. She couldn't help but smile when she looked at him in that seat. The concert started out with "Jepardy". Everyone was out of their seats having a good time.
(*many, many songs later*)
Chelsea(happy and out of breath): This last song is a remake I did. It's called Maricles Happen, and is fits. It fits with my band-my brothers, my loves! It fites with my fans! It fits with my 5 years I've been blessed with, the two bands I've been in, the 8 solo cds I've made, and 4 cds I've been a part of with my old bands, and the numerous soundtracks. The movies and TV shows I've been a part of. My boys (*turns and points to her band*), this is for you!!!
She really got into the song. She couldn't help but look at Brent--it was almost discribing them. "Nah" she thought "It's about my band and me!" After the concert Chelsea invited everyone over to the next room for a post-hang out until midnight. There would be pictures, autographs, dancing, Wii, and other fun activities. Brent was the last to walk in, but the first to catch Chelsea's eye. He took her in his arms.
Chelsea: I was begining to think you wouldn't come.
Brent: I wouldn't miss a change with my baby--er--uh--babies. Plus, I want to be the first to get the new cd!
Chelsea: Hate to say it, but you'll have to be #4. Grandpa gets the first, second goes to mom and dad, and third goes to Sarah. Her's will be the first one autographed since she helped with it, so you'll be #2.
Brent: I can tell you love me. Just kidding!
The party was blastin'! Everyone was having a great time. Chelsea's parents and grandpa had gone back to the hotel, but promised to return in time for the cd give out. Chelsea was giving all her friends and family a free copy of both the regular and special edition (more pictures/footage/dvd/and Maricles Happen) for free. Her fans would have to pay $5.00 for the regular and $10.00 for the special edition. After tonight, all cds released were $13.50 and $19.50. At 12:00am, midnight, Chelsea took the mic.
Chelsea: I'm so glad to see all of you have stayed around to celebrate the new cd! Jepardy will not be released in stores until 5am, so these are seriously the first ones sold! My first copy is going to my grandpa. Not enough words express my love for him. Copy #2 goes to mom and dad. #3 Goes to Sarah. You've helped so much, you'll get the first autograph! (*Cheers*) My last dedication, #4, goes to my love, Brent. (*Gasps, someone yells "What the hell happened with you and Joe?!*) Joe and I ran into some problems we couldn't fix. Brent luckily picked me up when I needed him. He's getting autograph #2. Fans--go to the right to get your copies. Friends and family--go to the left and get yours. Sarah will be checking the list for your name. Autographs will be done up here, so please step forward, you 5, to get your cds and autographs! Lots of love!
Fans kept running up to her and Joe, wanting to know what sort of "problems" there were. "As long as no one spills that I'm pregnant, we'll all be ok." thought Chelsea. If only she knew...

"Nick, um, just, uh-" Kevin looked around. If Bella saw Nick like this, unable to move his shoulders, crying his eyes out, with a huge red mark on the side of his face from the slap, she'd know something happened. Duh. Joe was panicking.
Nick, just stop crying, okay?!" Kevin shouted.
"Kevin! Do you think I'm doing it on purpose? You just dislo-located both my sh-shoulders!" Nick tried to calm down.
"You guys upstairs?" They heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
Joe's eyes widened. Nick closed his eyes, focused on breathing regularly, and calming down. Kevin, who wasn't helping the situation, was holding out a fist in front of Nick's face, threatening to beat him if he didn't calm down.
"Hey, you guys in there?" They heard a knock at the door. Nick opened his eyes.
"Y-yeah," Joe walked over to the door and opened it.
"Hey! I just came to pick up-" She stopped. "Nick? Are you okay?"
"F-fine," Nick faked a smile.
"Dude, you are so not fine. Why are you crying? What happened?" Bella walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Ow!" He pulled away.
"Oh my gosh, Nick, what happened? Woah! What happened to your face it's bright red! Bella panicked.
"I-" Kevin shot Nick a look. Joe shook his head, narrowing his eyes. "Seriously, nothing.
Bella stared at him.
"Fine. Fine, if you won't even tell your best friend....." she said dramatically. Nick turned to look at Kevin, who discreetly clenched his fists, giving Nick a warning.
"No, Bella. Really. I'm fine." Nick said as steadily as he could manage.
"Alright, if you say so..." Bella started, then smiled. "Okay, you ready to go?"
"Yeah," Nick totally forgot about their movie plans. "Wait for me downstairs, okay?" Nick smiled.
"Okay, See ya Kevin, Joe," she waved as she left. Kevin stared at her as she walked down the hallway, When she was out of earshot,
"Man she's hot!" Kevin blurted. Nick rolled his eyes.
"Nick, don't you dare tell anyone." Joe said, walking closer to Nick.
"If you even think about it, I swear, I will make your life so incredibly horrible-" Kevin didn't finish the sentence, but he didn't have to, Nick got it. Kevin was very capable of killing Nick, and he knew that, so whatever Kevin says, goes.
"No, No. I won't tell anyone." Nick whispered as he left the room, "I'll be back later,"
"Nick!" Kevin called.
"Yeah?" Nick's heart leapt, did he feel bad? Was he going to apologize? Say he's sorry for all the misery he's caused over the course of his life? Nick stood in the doorway, completely hopeful,
"Remember, you better stay away from Bella."
Nope. Of course not.
"Yeah, yeah. I will." He mumbled and turned away.
"You ready?" Bella said through her car window, beaming.
"Yeah," Nick climbed in the passenger seat.
"Let's go!"
*After the movie, about 8:00pm)
"That was awesome!" Bella said, having a total sugar high from drinking all her soda and Nick's.
"Yeah, it was, you're like, so hyper," Nick laughed.
"Whatever!" Bella smiled, backing out of the parking lot. "Nick? What happened to your face?" She pointed to Nick's cheek. Nick looked in the side mirrors. She was right, there was a huge bright red mark running across his cheek.
"I don't know, sunburn?" Nick tried.
"Nick, it's fall," She lifted an eyebrow.
"Haha, I don't know Bella,"
"Is Kevin okay?"
Nick looked at her, confused.
"Yeah, he's fine. Why?"
"I don't know," she started. "He seemed a little nervous, a little stressed, when I came over."
It's because he was threatening to kill me the instant you walked in! Because he didn't want anyone to find out about his plans to secretly ruin my life! Nick thought to himself.
"Lots of homework," was all he could manage.
"Oh, I totally understand," Bella nodded as she drove into Nick's driveway. "Well, that still looks pretty painful," Bella pointed to his face again.
You have no idea, Nick though to himself.
"Here, I hope it gets better," Bella leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. Nick turned around and looked at her, wide eyed. She was smiling.
"See ya Nick," She called out as Nick got out of the car.
"Bye, Bella," He looked right at her. It was silent for a minute, until she drove off. Nick's heart was racing, She just kissed him, sure it was in a friendly way, and it was on the cheek, but it has to count for something, right??
Just then, Kevin's words echoed through his mind,
"You better stay away from her."

They walk to their seats, Allisha the farthest back, Nick, Joe, Chelsea, Tara then Kevin.

He pushes Nick, just a little, to try and scare him.

Kevin: Of course, you are my brother. *Turns to Joe* But so are you. Dont you ever do that again! I know you were being mister funny man, but that was crossing the line!
Joe*gets all serious and frightened*: Kevin Im sorry, I didnt mean to hurt him, just shake him up a bit.
Kevin: Yeah, well, you sure did do a heck of a good job!
Tara: Umm, guys, people are staring!
Kevin and Joe turn and look at everyone staring back at them.
Kevin: Oh, um sorry folks, for that display. Please, just enjoy the movie!
He sits down by Tara, and turns bright red.
Kevin: Sometimes, I swear, those boys cause me the biggest pains!
Tara: Kevin, its ok, calm down, you saved Nick, thats all that matters. Just tell your mom about Joe when we get back.
Kevin: Ok, youre right. Thanks Tara.
He pats her on the back, gently and lovingly. Then the movie starts.
Kevin: Um, Tara?
Tara: Yes?
Kevin: Theres something I want to tell you.
